Candace was born in Winnipeg, Canada, but she's a real world traveler. She's lived in Bermuda, Malaysia, and Australia. Her looks are a reflection of her French and Italian descent.

While living in Bermuda, she turned a temp job into a full-time gig assisting a political party with their election, allowing her to see first-hand how governments work. Something that has impacted her heavily now. When she left Bermuda to pursue a dream of establishing a clothing line in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but she continued to serve as the Party's webmaster from the other side of the planet.

Whist is Bermuda she discovered the website Savvy.com and joined the online community. People there quickly fell in love with her vivaciousness, and her modeling career launched after Savvy flew her to do a photo shoot for the site.

Not too much later, Candace was hired by the company to be its spokesmodel and web hostess. Recognizing she was more than just a pretty face, Savvy put Candace in charge of art direction.

A year and a half later Candace left Savvy to pursue other opportunities

In June and in less than two weeks, she achieved the top ranked blogcast on Blogtv.com. She has gained representation from Ingenue Model Management in Las Vegas; Asian representation Frenzy Studio's Current projects include working as the Chief Operation Officer with Missonline a modeling platform for people looking to get in to get in to the industry and professionals looking to show off their talent. By day she has taken on the roles as a business developer with an international company Retail World where she Asst a team to find the best people to run front store labels an industry she was in before moving to Bermuda. This is one lady who isn't afraid of jet-setting and looks at travel as her next opportunity for adventure.

THE SWEET CHAMELEON
You might think she's achieved success by being ruthless or competitive, but the opposite is true; she networks with other models to help them achieve the same type of success.

"I want to network with make-up artists, photographers, stylists, and other models who want extra exposure, so I would love to hear from them," she said. "I'm a model who can also contribute to concepts and looks because of my experience working as an art director and fashion designer for Savvy."

She said she wants to try all avenues of modeling. A bit of a chameleon, Candace can do looks as varied as high fashion and pin-up glamour.

"I constantly push myself to do other styles. I take criticism well, as this is the only way one can learn. If you are looking for a model who is less than 100 pounds, please move on. I don't believe I need stick my fingers down my throat to get a job. I believe modeling isn't easy; we in the industry are here to make a mark, to create something that makes people want more of it. I have an extreme passion for everything that goes into creating an image as I have worked on all levels of the production of a photo shoot," she said.

OVERCOMING OBSTACLES
When you meet Candace for the first time, you wonder where her effervesence comes from – what she's been smoking or drinking to be so hyper, so joyful, so fun.

"I'm high on life, mate!" declares the often-giggling strawberry blonde. You wish you could have a girlfriend just like her – or at least bottle up some of that energy!

Life thus far has been an amazing adventure with all of its peaks and valleys. If you want to know why Candace is so full of life, you need to know a little bit about the life that nearly wasn't.

At age 22, Candace was told by doctors that she wouldn't live to see her next birthday.

"The doctors couldn't say what was wrong with me, but I determined that if I made it out of that hospital bed, I was going to live my life differently. I realized that people should embrace life with positivity because you just don't know when you could be cut down and your life end. It could have ended for me at 22," she said.

God, karma – or whatever you want to call it – decided to cut Candace a break. Perhaps the world needed her too much.

"The universe is a funny thing. The doctor who saved my life just happened to come in to the hospital when I was there and just happened to have seen my condition before," she said.

Today, Candace is healthy and more determined than ever to achieve her dreams.
